All year round is possible, but August and October are the best times to do it
We pick you up at your hotel at 07:30 by private transportation. The trip across the altiplano to Lake Titicaca takes 4 hours. We cross it at the Tiquina strait and continue along the road with great views of the lake and the Andes mountain range to the town of Copacabana. We visit its impressive church with the famous Virgin of Copacabana. We have fish for lunch and in the afternoon we go by boat to the south side of the sun island to visit the ruins of Pilcocaina and Yumani where we visit «the fountain of youth». In the afternoon we return to Copacabana again by boat and arrive later in La Paz.
