RURRENABAQUE – ECOLODGE
We leave Rurrenabaque by car at 9:00 a.m to the Municipal Reserve of the Yacuma River. After 3 ½ hours we arrived at our Ecolodge, which is located on the shores of the Yacuma River. Lunch will be served and you have time to relax in a hammock. In the afternoon we make a boat trip where you have the chance to see a lot of wildlife like caimans, alligators, monkeys, capybaras, anacondas and numerous species of birds. Most of these animals can easily be seen from the boat.
SWIMMING NEXT TO THE PINK DOLPHIN
In the morning we walk through the wetlands and look for anacondas and alligators. When we return to our lodge we have lunch and time to take a nap. If it is the rainy season, we swim in the afternoon with pink river dolphins. In the dry season this is unfortunately not possible. After dinner we offer an opportunity to look for caimans and other nocturnal life along the riverbank by boat.
ECOLOGE – RURRENABAQUE
In the morning we go by boat to a place where we observe squirrel monkeys. After lunch we go back to Rurrenabaque where we arrive around 5:00 p.m.
